Why Us
Urban Humanitarian Care Services, Inc. (UHCS) provides Quality Assurance, Health and Safety Monitoring and Compliance for our public and private sector clients. Our experienced team of professionals have provided these services to federal, state, and local government agencies following service nationally declared humanitarian crisis or natural disasters. As a nongovernmental organization (NGO) IRS designated 501(c)(3), we assist our clients to ensure federally funded programs are in compliance with laws, regulations, ordinances, court rulings and orders. We work on-site in facilities to monitor health, safety, and well-being. When an incident is reported, our team will review the issues, and recommend improvements in processes and/or policies to meet compliance. We strive to be our client's onsite monitoring team there to detect and report to management incidents or concerns.

Internal controls and compliance self-monitoring are the best ways to improve federally funded programs. We assist our clients with service quality, and health and safety reviews to proactively recognize opportunities to remediate and improve processes and policies. Compliance is teams' our passion.
Quality Assurance, Health and Safety Reviews
The Federal government, state agencies, and local government all have laws, regulations, ordinances and published guidelines for organizations to follow. Our team is experienced with compliance with over 41 state government requirements for health and safety in program facilities. We create our health and safety assessments and compliance tools from these published government guidelines. Then, we use these tools to conduct program monitoring to ensure program compliance.
